RSA v Ind, ODI3, New Delhi, 14 Nov 91, Report

South Africa restored pride by pulling  off  a  remarkable  eight
wicket  victory  over  India, after being set a mammoth target of
288 at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in New Delhi in the  3rd   of
three  limited  over games.  India looked certain to clinch a 3-0
series whitewash after after stand-in skipper Ravi Shastri (109),
Sanjay Manjrekar (105) and Srikkanth (53) led them to 287-4 in 50
overs.
However, Kepler Wessels followed up his  half  centuries  in  the
first two two games with a sterling 90 to put South Africa on the
victory path.  Peter Kirsten (86) and  Adrian  Kuiper (63)   then
produced  an  unbroken  stand  to see them home with 3.2 overs to
spare.
