TRANSVAAL FALL AT ILOTT'S FEET
Another superb spell of bowling by Mark Ilott  helped  England  A
reduce  Northern  Transvaal  to 48-5 at lunch on the first day of
their latest tour match.  The Essex paceman took  3-12  in a   12
over new ball spell as Transvaal who chose to bat  felt the back-
lash of  England's  recent  heavy  defeat.   Fast bowler   Martin
McCague began the slide forcing former West Indies opener Clayton
Lambert back onto his stumps.
MORRIS MEN ARE DANCING AGAIN
England A bounced back from the shock defeat in Durban  by  skit-
tling  Northern Transvaal for 138.  Only opener Blais Sommerville
ninth out for 60 held up England as Mark Ilott (4-32) and  Martin
McCague (3-34) spearheaded a fine bowling effort.  Essex left arm
quickie Ilott now has 21 first class wickets on  tour   and  this
morning broke the back of the home innings with a spell of 3-12.
