Harris Shield (Bombay Schools U17) Final - Scores _HEADING_ Report

HARRIS SHIELD (U-17) 1993-4
Bombay Schools Cricket Competition (sponsored by Thums Up)

FINAL : Shardashram (Marathi) v Shardashram (English)
played at ???, 28 Feb - 3 Mar 94

Shardahsram (English) won by an innings and 94 runs.

Shardashram (Marathi) 1st inng - 115 all out
   Faisal Mamlekar 4-23, Madye 3-33, Aroskar 2-12

Shardashram (English) 2st inng - 361
Amit Aroskar 111, Amol Rane 59, Pushkaraj Jadhav 50,
   Khanolkar 68, Manjrekar 4-83

Shardashram (Marathi) 2nd inng - 152 all out
   Faisal Mamlekar 6-37, Madye 3-34

A disappointingly one-sided match. The TOI report said Shar-
dashram (Marathi) never seemed to think they could win. The
result was a foregone conclusion after Day-1 itself, when Shar-
dashram (Marathi) crashed out for 115, and then Shardashram (En-
glish) openers Aroskar and Rane (who also keeps wickets for them)
made that many themselves. Mamlekar was obviously the bowling
hero for the winners, with his match haul of 10-60.
