Derbyshire were dismissed for 251 in 57.3 overs on an easy paced pitch and then Curtis and Weston added 118 off 49 overs in untroubled fashion. Weston reached his first championship 50 of the season and finished on 59 while Curtis remained unbeaten on 49. Day 2 & 3 : No Reports Day 4: West Indian paceman Ken Benjamin produced a deadly spell to spearhead Worcestershire`s nine wicket victory. He picked up the last four wickets for five runs in 15 balls as the visitors were dismissed for 358 to leave Worcs needing only 50 for victo- ry.
