Seeboard Trophy CANTERBURY: Kent v Surrey
Skipper Alec Stewart and Monty Lynch steered Surrey to a
comfortable five wicket win over holders Kent in the Seeboard
Trophy at Canterbury.
The pair teamed up in a century stand as Surrey reached their
victory target of 213 5 chasing Kent's 209 8 with more than six
overs to spare.
Wicketkeeper Steve Marsh top scored for Kent with 50 off 51 balls
with Nigel Llong (47) also on song.
