LARA SMASHES NEW RECORD

reached the landmark five minutes before the close of
Warwickshire's game with Durham and finished 111 not out. Howev-

of 556-8 Lara almost gave a return catch off his first ball and
was bowled off a no ball before he was dropped by wicket keeper
Chris Scott on 18.

key roles as their side moved 87 ahead of Notts at Middlesbrough.
