Date-stamped : 13 May95 - 14:23 FLOWERS MAKE IMPRESSIVE START The Flower brothers, Andy and Grant, were in fine form on their Birmingham League debuts last weekend. Zimbabwe Test captain Andy, made 101 in West Bromwich Dartmouth`s draw with Wolverhamp- ton, while Grant`s 97 helped newly promoted Barnt Green to a two-wicket victory over Moseley. Moseley`s neighbours Old Edwardians were beaten in the last over by Coventry and North Warwicks, who won the non-league fixture by seven wickets. Old Eds professional, Western Province batsman Brian Baguley, scored 135. Smethwick`s Anurag Singh, contracted to Warwickshire and an Eng- land Under 19 international of 1994, hit 143 in the draw with Old Hill, and Steve Dean made a hundred in Walsall`s 199-run deafeat of Aston Unity. The first four Unity batsmen were out for ducks as Paul Newman, with six wickets, and Kevin Arnold, with four, bowled them out for 56. In the Gunn and Moore Alliance League, Notts Unity`s Richard Mor- gan took a second successive five-wicket haul against Southwell. In the Northants County League, Peterborough`s Dominic Ralfs took six for 41 as Wellingborough, out for 119, lost by nine wickets.
