CC: Yorkshire v Sussex, Scarborough, 7-11 September 1995

====> Day 1, 7 Sep 95

No play due to rain.

====> Day 2, 8 Sep 95

No play due to rain.

====> Day 3, 9 Sep 95
Third day of four: Sussex 357-8

QUALITY batting from Alan Wells (76) and Neil Lenham (86) settled
Sussex, who had been put in, after a rocky start and then Keith
Greenfield (85) batted enterprisingly as they finished on 357 for
eight, writes David Green.

With a first two days lost to rain a contrived finish was likely
but its setting up was complicated by Michael Bevan`s unorthodox
slow left arm which accounted for Wells, Lenham and Peter Moores.

A stand of 77 between Greenfield and Ian Salisbury means, with
forfeits to follow and weather permitting, Yorkshire will face a
long chase tomorrow.

Yorkshire will be without Craig White who tore a groin muscle but
he is confident he will recover in time to tour Pakistan with
England A.
