- Shane Lee was dismissed last ball before lunch. NSW went to lunch at 85/4.
- NSW lost 7 wickets for 4 runs to end their first innings.
- Mulder's figures of 5/2 are his best in first class cricket.
- Michael Slater did not field all day. Arnberger acted as substitute.
- Alley went off the field after his intial spell of 3 overs. I do not
believe he returned. The NSW coach, Geoff Lawson, acted as substitute
fielder.
- Campbell's 50 came up off 26 balls.
- Moody and Hogg were dismissed by successive balls from Matthews. Gilchrist
faced the hattrick ball.
