An old boy of Maris Stella, Negombo he is a past cricket captain and also represented Negombo CC in Sara trophy cricket.
The independent panel for the tournament will also comprise two umpires from India and one from Pakistan.
Host Bangladesh, and the 'A' teams of India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will take part in the tournament. - (S.T.)
