All vehicular traffic leading to the grounds (Khettarama) for the 'one-day' (d/n) Internationals to be played on Aug. 24, 26, 28 and 30 are advised to approach along the following route:
* Sri Sangaraja roundabout - Pradeepa Mawatha - Sri Saddharma mawatha to Khettarama.
Traffic from north of Colombo will be directed along:
* Baseline road - New Approach Road to Khettarama.
All vehicular traffic from:
* Sri Jayawardenapura - Nugegoda and Kotte area will be directed along Borella junction - Baseline road - Sri Saddharma mawatha Khettarama.
Khettarama Mawatha will be 'one-way' from Grandpass road.
All labelled vehicles will be allowed entry to the respective car parks within the stadium premises.
All unlabelled vehicles will be directed to be parked at Kaleel Vidyalaya grounds on Jumma Masjid road.
Since all vehicles will be subject to search, motorists are advised to arrive at the grounds at least one hour before the scheduled commencement of the Matches.
Spectators are advised that they will be subject to thorough searches, prior to admission to the stadium. The carriage of liquor is prohibited. Non-alcoholic beverages could be carried into the stadium only in plastic containers. Spectators are also advised to refrain from bringing with them glasses, bottles or plates to the venue.
The co-operation of motorists and spectators is solicited, to achieve the implementation of traffic and security plans.
The Bankers will take on Zimbabwe in a practice match organized as a forerunner to the singer World Series Cricket Tournament.
The match which will be a 50-over encounter at the P. Saravanamuttu Cricket Stadium (Colombo Oval) Friday from 9.30 am onwards.
