The PCB Disciplinary Committee, headed by former Test cricketer Talat Ali Malik, met in Lahore on Thursday and announced the pun- ishment after thoroughly deliberating upon Zeeshan Pervaiz`s case. The PCB secretary Waqar Ahmad announced here that the Disci- plinary Commit tee took very "serious view" of the whole episode. It may be mentioned here t hat the court had acquitted Zeeshan Pervaiz on the ground that he had had "consensual sex-act" with the American woman of the West Indian origin during Pakistan un- der-19 cricket team`s tour to the West Indies in 1996. However, the committee felt that his behaviour was not worth "condoning". Source :: The Dawn (http://www.xiber.com/dawn) Contributed by Vishwa ( vg@cricinfo.com )
