Former Peterite Damith Maiarachchi making his debut in the P. Saravanamuttu Trophy Tournament led NCC to an eight wicket win over Antonians SC in their division one segment 'A' cricket match concluded at Katunayake yesterday.
Maiarachchi returned figures of 3 for 32 as Antonians SC were dismissed for 197 in their second innings. He also compiled a superb knock of 79 in the second innings and figured in a second wicket stand of 175 runs with Sanjeewa Ranatunga.
Damith had 10 boundaries in his knock while Sanjeewa also had 10 hits to the ropes in his innings.

The visitors were bowled out for 143 in their second innings with Laknath Perera (4 for 38) and Suranga Wijenaike (5 for 38) causing the damage.
