KCCA probables for 3-dayer

KARACHI, Jan 28: The Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) has named a strong field of 30 probables for the three-dayer against India A to be played at the National Stadium between Feb 3 and 5.

Asif Mujtaba leads the list that includes six Test players and four international cricketers. Also in the list are six players who have represented Pakistan at Under-19 level, including two captains Ahmar Saeed (Pakistan Under-19) and Faisal Iqbal (Pakistan Under-14).

The players have been directed to report to Aftab Baloch at the National Stadium for training session on Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

The probables are: Asif Mujtaba, Azam Khan, Hasan Raza, Basit Ali, Ali Husain Rizvi, Shadab Kabir, Shahid Afridi, Zafar Iqbal, Manzoor Akhtar, Javed Qadeer, Farhan Adil, Mohammad Javed, Kashif Ibraheem, Asim Zaidi, Faisal Iqbal, Iqbal Imam, Arif Mahmood, Ahmar Saeed, Asim Kamal, Naeem Tayyab, Shahid Iqbal, Atiquz Zaman, Lal Faraz, Ali Raza, Ali Gohar, Kashif Ahmad, Majid Mujtaba, Zamir Ahmad Khan, Saeed Bin Nasir and Ahmad Zeeshan Malik.

The Indians are scheduled to arrive here on Jan 31 for their second ever tour. The only time the Indians came here was in 1988-89 when they beat Basit Ali's Pakistan Under-19 1-0 in the three-Test series.
