KARACHI, March 5:

Aaqib Javed was retained as captain for the fourth and final cricket 'Test' between Pakistan A and India A starting at the National Stadium from Saturday.

The series is levelled as 0-0 with none of the previous 'Tests' having gone to full distance because of rains. The manager of the Pakistan A team and national selector, Shafiq Ahmad, has made three changes in the team that played the third 'Test' at Lahore earlier this week.

Test spinner Ali Husain Rizvi and Mohammad Husain have been left out of the 12-man party while Peshawar's allrounder Sajid Shah also doesn't find a place in the side.

Off-spinner Murtuza Husain, domestic season's leading wicket-taker with 53, forces his way in the side along with Hyderabad's Shahid Qambrani who has impressed the selectors with his performance in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Grade II.

The team, unlike the 3rd 'Test' where there were 13 players, has also been curtailed to 12 players.

Both India A and Pakistan A arrive from Lahore on Friday and will hold training camps at the National Stadium in the afternoon.

The Pakistan A team is:

Aqib Javed (Captain), Basit Ali, Salim Elahi, Shahid Afridi, Hasan Raza, Bayazid Khan, Akhtar Sarfaraz, Abdul Razzak, Humayun Farhat (wicket-keeper), Murtuza Husain, Jaffar Nazeer and Shahid Qambrani.
