The Indian selectors have named a squad of  27 probables from whom
the squads for the Asia Cup and the following Sri Lankan tour will 
be chosen.

Batsmen: Sachin Tendulkar (captain), Navjot Singh Sidhu, Gagan Khoda, 
V V S Laxman, Saurav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Mohammad Azharuddin, Vinod
Kambli, Ajay Jadeja, S Sarath and Amay Khurasia.

Wicket Keepers: Nayan Mongia, Syed Saba Karim.

All rounders: Robin Singh (Senior), Ajit Agarkar, Ajay Sharma and
Hrishikesh Kanitkar.

Fast bowlers: Venkatesh Prasad, Abey Kuruvilla, Harvinder Singh, Debashish
Mohanty and Robin Singh (Junior).

Spinners: Anil Kumble, Noel David, Rajesh Chauhan, Nilesh Kulkarni, S
Venkatapathy Raju.
