KARACHI, July 9: In an unprecedented move, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) formed a three-member disciplinary committee comprising members of the Pakistan team for the Asia Cup.

Salim Malik is the chairman while Saeed Anwar and Moin Khan are the members.

The three cricketers have been empowered to take any disciplinary action against their team-mates for any breach of Code of Conduct during the tour of Sri Lanka. Interestingly, the three managers viz Zaheer Abbas, Haroon Rasheed and Aamir Hayat Rokhri along with skipper Ramiz Raja have not been considered for the job. Nevertheless, the four officials can be consulted if there was a serious charge against any player.
