New logo unveiled
Organisers announced today further exciting news regarding the sixth New T&T / Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Cricket Sixes. Cricket World International and the Hong Kong Cricket Association unveiled the new Sixes event logo which will be carried on the player's shirts and many other items of popular tournament merchandise. The logo retains many elements of the generic Sixes l ogo but it has been restyled to give it a greater sense of movement and colour. Fans will see this logo tastefully placed on the event polo shirts, on the baseball style caps, and on the mini souvenir cricket bats. The generic logo will remain on the ev ent stationary for the time being. Organisers have also produced a vibrant and 'sassy' event T-shirt which should appeal to the young and vocal crowd who always provide loyal and enthusiastic support for the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes. Terry Smith, President of the Hong Kong Cricket Association said "We're very excited at this year's range of merchandise and its lively new look. I'm sure the fans will love it." Organisers also revealed details of a powerful West Indies team which will defend its title at this year's tournament. The team is:
