Graveney presented Durham with a cheque for -L250,000 from the Sports Ground Initiative then saw bowlers who had not performed for two weeks concede 41 extras as Hampshire skipper John Stephenson fol- lowed up his four for 28 with 38 not out to clinch victory with three overs to spare.
