Date-stamped : 12 Aug97 - 10:30 Sussex v Leics Leics (184) bt Sussex (140) by 44 runs DOMINIC Williamson claimed a Sunday-best five for 32 as Le- icestershire kept their title hopes alive with a 44-run win over Sussex at Eastbourne, writes Paul Wrightson. Sussex, bottom of the table, suffered their fifth defeat in six games after being dismissed for 140, chasing a target of 185. Williamson took four of the last five wickets as the hosts` frail batting again let them down. They lost openers Keith Green- field and Bill Athey with only 29 scored, and half the side were out for 78 when Rajesh Rao fell to Tim Mason for 40. Ben Smith had earlier hit four fours and a six in making 71 off 72 balls as Leicestershire, who won the toss, were bowled out for 184 with one ball remaining.
