Day 8 (30 October)

I'm afraid both of you will have to wait until tomorrow for another instalment of my Bangladesh Diary. Unfortunately, things have turned a bit sour at this end. In a bid to permanently censor my writing, Simon appears to have spiked the banana split I ordered from Room Service last night. I don't know what was in it, but (and if you don't want to know the rest, stop reading right now), it came straight back up and out at about 5am. That was the end of my nights sleep as well, and with my head spinning as much as one of Murali's square turners, I have been out of commission for the day, despite the best efforts of Mother Hen Balfour. He seems to have gone soft, having not fallen out of bed last night.
