The first unofficial test match will be played at the Asgiriya Stadium from July 22 to 25. The second test will be at the Welagedara Stadium Kurunegala from August 1 to 4 while the third and final test will be played at the Uyanwatte Stadium, Matara from August 7 to 10. The three one day matches will be played at Galle, Moratuwa and SSC grounds respectively.
Meanwhile the national selectors have named a 26 member Sri Lanka 'A' pool for the forthcoming unofficial test and one day series against South Africa 'A'. In addition former Sri Lanka test player and qualified level IV coach Brendon Kuruppu has been appointed as the manager and qualified level II coach Hemantha Devapriya has been appointed as the coach of the Sri Lanka 'A' team.
