Kent's acting captain, Trevor Ward, and Alan Wells put on an unbeaten
120 to see off Cambridgeshire by eight wickets with more than 22 overs
to spare at Canterbury.
Ward made 61 not out off 93 balls, hitting seven fours, while Wells
scored an unbeaten 53 from 70 balls, also with seven fours.
Earlier, Cambridgeshire slipped from 59 for one to 71 for five in six
overs.
