Gloucestershire v Warwickshire at Bristol

The Electronic Telegraph

14 June 1998

LUNCHTIME showers having reduced the match between Gloucestershire and Warwickshire at Bristol to 32 overs a side, Gloucester chose to bat, and had wobbled to 49 for three in 11.4 overs when heavy storms washed out further play.

Ed Giddins hit Gregor Macmillan's off stump in his first over, then had Mark Alleyne caught at slip. With Bobby Dawson playing on to Gladstone Small, Gloucestershire were happy to settle for two points from the no-result.
