Kent v Leicestershire at Leicester
The Electronic Telegraph
14 June 1998
RAIN robbed Kent of an almost certain victory at Grace Road after
England duo Dean Headley and Mark Ealham had decimated the
Leicestershire top order.
The home side, put in to bat, had collapsed to 25 for five off nine
overs in between the showers when play was halted for the last time.
The match was declared a no-result with both sides picking up two
points.
On a pitch giving plenty of assistance, Headley snapped up three for
14 in five overs and Ealham two for 10 in four overs.
