Lancashire v Essex at Colwyn Bay

Lancashire's hopes of dislodging Essex at the top of the AXA League
table disappeared when their match against Glamorgan at Colwyn Bay was
washed out yesterday.
Morning rain became heavier as the day progressed and umpires Barry
Dudleston and David Constant took the decision to abandon the match at
4pm.
