Donald to remain

The disappointment of South Africa's 2-1 loss to England in the Test series, has resulted in them retaining their main strike bowler Allan Donald for the triangular series.

Donald, was to have left for South Africa after the Test series to undergo treatment and possibly an operation on a painful ankle (a similar injury to what Chaminda Vaas suffered). But that decision was taken at the time South Africa held onto a 1-0 lead after three Tests. They went on to lose the fourth and fifth Tests and, with it the series to England.

Donald, who writes a column for 'The Express' said: ``It was the end of a dream for me yesterday. I was so much wanted to win this series. But now its over I won't relax. I'm in the squad for this week's one-day triangular tournament, and I'll be looking for a little revenge''.
