Canada XI v Bermuda at G Ross Lord Park, Toronto

In Game 2 of the one-week Bermuda Senior tour to Canada, the Canadian XI scored 180 for 10 wickets in 49.3 overs. Joe Harris scored a masterful ton. His 115 runs contained 8 fours and 5 sixes off 149 balls in 174 minutes. Harris strode to the crease with the home team 1 wicket down for 6 runs. When he departed; the score was then 175, in large part due also to a partnership of 135 runs with debutant Viv Sailsman who scored 32 runs off 44 balls in 65 minutes.

H. Bascome again led the Bermudan attack with 4 wickets for 29 runs in 10 overs. J Tucker 2/19 off 10, P Philpott 2/30 off 10, and C Marshall 1/43 were other wicket-takers.

In their turn at the crease, Bermuda scored 181 for 8 wickets in an identical 49.3 overs. D Archer 40, C Smith 36, C Marshall 29, A Adams 19, and A Steed 12 were the main run-getters. Bowling for the Canadian XI D Joseph 1/21, E Sinnathamby 1/31, V Sailsman 1/25, M Croning 3/22 and G Codrington 1/27 were the best of the local bowlers.
