CricInfo report

Canadas U-17's continue to have a successful tour of Bermuda. On August 17, they defeated a West XI for their 3rd consecutive victory- hard fought as it might have been. Bermuda's West XI batted first and scored 170 runs in 45.4 overs. Kanaz Tuzo 37, Quinton Jones 30 and Rholand Rhones 30 were the top run-getters (extras 39!). Harindra Chandraseena 3/18, Gitu Hassan 2/14, Ajay Minhas 2/46, and Nathan Richards 1/22 were the best bowlers. The Bermudans at one point were 1/7, 2/9,3/9, 4/68, 5/90 but showed fantastic resilience and recovery powers.

At their turn at the crease, Canada's U-17's started well at 1/55 but slumped to 5/107 and 7/129 before Nathan Richards topscorer with 46 not out and Videsh Seepersad 4 not out saw them to victory in the 46th over. Dionne Stovell 3/7 off 7 overs, Kanaz Tuzo 2/30, and Philip Thomas 2/45 were the best bowlers for the West XI. With the right approach, training and continued exposure, the cricketing future seems bright for these youngsters.
