It was all over for the Indians when McGrath cleaned up Srinath (0) who was batting with one hand (his other being injured). Harbhajan Singh (17 not out) and Nayan Mongia (28) was the only batsmen who put up any resistance. The other batsmen fell by the wayside, not upto the task of taming the Aussie attack. Mark Waugh picked up 3/40 including the big one of Sachin Tendulkar. Aussies knocked off the required 47 runs to win in just 7 overs. Slater (19 not out) and Hayden (28 not out) saw Australia past the target. Hayden struck the winning blow!
