For a change it wasn't Slater who got out first. It took a
stupendous catch by Zaheer Khan to dismiss Matthew Hayden cheaply for the first
time in this series. Hayden made 35 runs and was looking good for another big
one. The first wicket partnership yielded 82 runs for the Aussies. Hayden heaved
one from Kulkarni to the mid-wicket fence and Zaheer Khan ran in and took the
catch a few inches above the ground. If catches win matches, this one will be
remembered for a long time to come. A lot of credit goes to the unsung heroes
John Wright (Coach) and Andrew Leipus (Trainer/Physio) in making such feats
on the field possible.
