Ricky Ponting who has been woefully out of form against Harbhajan
Singh all through this series, was lucky to be given in after being caught behind.
Bahutule then failed to latch on to a return catch offered and it seemed like
Ponting might break free. It was not to be; Ponting tried to hit out of the
rut as he lofted a huge straight six. His technique against Harbhajan has been
so appalling that his dismissal was just a formality, caught by Dravid off the
glove after making a scratchy eleven runs. No marks for guessing who the bowler
was... Harbhajan Singh! Shane Warne was determined to stay with his mate Steve
Waugh and put up a fight. Warne was given out lbw off the last ball of the fourth
day bowled by Harbhajan Singh. The benefit of the doubt not going in his favour
as he was not playing a shot. Waugh was unbeaten on 43 with Australia on 241/7
at the end of the fourth day.
