Matthew Lawrence Hayden impressed even his accomplished opposition
with his keen footwork to tackle and at times hit the spinners out of the ground.
He smacked five big sixes and eight boundaries to reach his hundred in grand
style. A match winning hundred in Mumbai and swashbuckling 97 in Kolkata behind
him, Hayden took a liking for this Indian bowling the day he saw them first
on this tour. In the meanwhile Justin Langer got into the act by scoring a run-a-ball
35 before being caught at first slip by Dravid off none other than Harbhajan
Singh.
