Not more than
12 teams in each division.
Each team will play every other team in the Division once on Round
Robin basis.
All league matches will be of one day duration and will be played as
per rules applicable to One day Matches.
IV Division :
Not more than 48 teams in
6 Zones of not more than 8 teams in each Zone.
The teams shall be divided into 6 Zones of not more than 8 teams in
each Zone. Each team will play every other team in its Zone once. Two
teams securing highest number of points in each Zone will be eligible
to participate in the Final Knock-out.
Draw for final Knockout will be done by taking lots.
V Division :
Teams in Group I - other tan
those allocated to I to IV Division and Institutional Associates newly
admitted will be eligible to participate in this tournament.
The teams allocated to this division will play the matches on Knock-
out basis. Preliminary matches including the Quarter Final Matches
will be of One day's duration and will be Played as per rules
applicable to One day Matches.
Semi - finals and Final Matches will be of 2 days duration and will be
played as per rules applicable for 2 day matches.

Teams participating in all division will pay the entry fee in advance
accompanied by list of Players in the prescribed form. The team may
include in the above list 25 names of registered Players.
The Teams may additionally register FIVE Players each, during the
season. However, the list of Players on addition/transfer and
including Option (Moffussil) if any shall not exceed 30 Players.
NOTE:A Second team of any affiliated Member will not be
permitted as a fresh entrant for any of the above Tournaments.
Unequal distribution of teams in Zones shall not affect the selection
of the teams for the Final Knockout or for Promotion/relegation.
All league matches within Zones will be of one day duration and will
be played as per rules applicable to One day Matches. All matches
including the Quarter-final matches in Knock-out will be of one day
duration and will also be played as per rules applicable to One day
Matches.
PRAMOTIONS:
The top two teams earning highest points in II & III Division and
the finalists of IV Division will be promoted to I,II and III
Divisions respectively.
The Semi-finalists of the V Division Knockout tournament will be
promoted to the IV Division League.
RELEGATIONS
Out of the participating teams, Two teams securing the lowest
number of points in the league stage of I,II and III Division and
Four teams in the IV Division will be relegated to the next lower
division (i.e. II,III,IV & V Division respectively).
In case more than two teams in I,II & III Division and Four teams
in IV Division have earned the same number of points (at lower level)
at league stage, the method of net run rate will be applied to decide
the last two or four positions as the case may be.
GUIDELINES FOR NET RUNRATES:
A team's net run rate is calculated by deducting from the average
runs per over scored by that team throughout the league tournament the
average runs per over scored against that team throughout the League
Tournament.
In the event of a team being all out in less than its full quota
of over, the calculation of its net run rate shall be based on the
full quota of overs to which it would have been entitled and not on
the number of overs in which the team was dismissed.
Fraction in the over will be taken as completed over.
