Sri Lanka held the whiphand as South Africa limped to 192/8 in their second
innings at stumps on the third day of the Kandy Test. The visitors were
just 137 in front and Jacques Kallis' dismissal for 87 by Murali (3/65)
just before close was a huge blow. Earlier South Africa engineered a late
order collapse, the last six wickets tumbling for 22, to bowl out Sri Lanka
for 308 and restrict the lead to 55.
