 As
a curtain-raiser for the 2001-02 Saturday League season, ITCS Corporate
Services in conjunction with HKCA, are organising a 6-a-side competition
for Hong Kong Saturday League teams. The event is officially sponsored
by Omnicon Freight Management Ltd.
The tournament will
be played at the Mission Road ground on 1-2 September 2001, with teams
competing for trophies and prize money totalling HK$35,000.
- Cup + HK$15,000
- Plate + HK$12,500
- Bowl + HK$7,500

per team.

Format: 9 teams round robin plus finals day
1. Round robin within
each group of three teams named as Nathan Group, Hennessy Group and Castle
Peak Group. Top 2 teams from each group enter Cup Round.
2. - Cup Round teams
split into 2 groups: OMNICON(O), HKCA(H) by draw.
- Top team from each Groups enters Cup Final.
- Second placed team from each group enters Plate Final.
- Bowl winners determined by Round Robin (W2, D1, L0) with positions determined
by run rate (run/balls faced) in event of tie.
