NO PLAY BEFORE LUNCH IN BULAWAYO TEST

Prolonged and steady overnight and morning rain has prevented any play before lunch of the second day of the Second Test match between Zimbabwe and South Africa at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. Zimbabwe were 154 for two wickets overnight.

The rain finally stopped in midmorning, but extensive mopping-up operations were required and the sky remained heavily overcast. There was a possibility of play later during the afternoon if there was no more rain.

RAIN IN BULAWAYO HOLDS UP SECOND TEST

Rain in Bulwayo prevented play starting on the second morning of the second Test match between Zimbabwe and South Africa on Saturday.

With the pitch under covers and water pooling in the outfield, it was not clear when play might be possible.

Zimbabwe were 154 for two overnight with Hamilton Masakadza not out on 2 and Stuart Carlisle yet to open his account.

South Africa lead the two-match series 1-0.
