Inquiries and Disciplinary Action

14.1 The Tournament Committee shall have the power to inquire into any matter, arising in the course of conducting any Tournament, either on receipt of any written complaint reports by any or at their own discretion, and take appropriate action to ensure the success in conducting the Tournaments.
However the Tournament Committee does not have power to inquire into any matter, ly such matter is referred to the Tournament Committee 3 days a ter comp e ion of a particular round of a tournament.

14.2 The tournament committee, if necessary, shall forward such reports received of their own reports, to the disciplinary Committee of the BCCSL through the Hony. Secretary/ Hony. Assistant Secretary, for the necessary inquiry, investigation and appropriate course of action, as per Rule (30C, (d), (e) & (f) of the Constitution of the BCCSL, The BCCSL Code of Conduct and Regulations - ( PART C)

14.3 The Tournament Committee, if necessary, may also forward through the Hony. Secretary/ Assistant Secretary, their recommendations to the Disciplinary Committee, perhaps for further action.

14.4 Some of the areas that shall be dealt under this section, include:

(a) Eligibility/ qualification of players Regulation (04)

(b) Registration of Players - Regulation (05)

(c) Transfer of Clubs / Players - Regulation (06)

(d) Relegation of Players - Regulation (07).

(e) Fixtures/ Venues/ Pitches - Regulation (08).

(f) Minimum No. of Players, ready to - Regulation 10.3
play at the scheduled start & throughout Playing Conditions

(g) Late arrival/ Non arrival of teams - ----- do ------
Refusal to play

(h) Tossing & Nomination of players - 10.3(a), & (I 0.3(b)
on time in PART A

(1) Once a player is nominated to play in a BCCSL match, he shall under no circumstances take part in any other Cricket Match or in any other sport/ Recreation activity whilst that particular match is in progress/ suspended and/or until that match is officially declared concluded.

Failure by the host team to ensure - (PART A)

the pitch is ready and handed over on
time, will result in penalisation. (PART -A)

(k) Withdrawing during the tournament - BCCSL Code of Conduct
(1) Failure to Host a Match - Regulation (8.12)
(m) Requirement under Preamble - Regulation (1)

(n) Breaches of the BCCSL Code of Conduct and Regulations and/or Rule 30(a) &
(b) of the BCCSL Constitution ( I" July 1984).
