PLAYING CONDITION CHANGES

The following are changes to the playing conditions for the following competitions

NatWest Series

Page 33, paragraph 7. The penalty for a no ball in one-day Tourist matches will be one run, not two runs as stated (+ runs otherwise scored).

Vodafone Challenge, and other First-Class Tour Matches & U19 Test Matches


4.6 3 minutes 45 seconds becomes 4 minutes
5.1.1 104 overs becomes 98 overs
5.1.2 80 overs becomes 75 overs, and 16 overs per hour becomes 15 overs per hour
5.2 3 minutes 45 seconds becomes 4 minutes, 104 overs becomes 98 overs and 80 overs becomes 75 overs.
5.4 3 minutes 45 seconds becomes 4 minutes
5.5 16 overs becomes 15 overs, 80 overs becomes 75 overs.
5.6 3 minutes 45 seconds becomes 4 minutes

Page 45, paragraph 18. The penalty for a no-ball in Vodafone Challenge and other first-class tour matches will be one run, not two runs as stated (+ runs otherwise scored).

The CricInfo Championship and other First Class Matches

Page 63, paragraph 3.1.2. The hours of play in all Other Domestic First Class Matches are now 11.00am - 6.30pm on Days 1 & 2. Day 3 is as stated. (This affects the UCCE matches against Counties).

Page 65, paragraph 3.2.2. Lunch on the first and second day will normally be taken at 1.15pm. (Lunch on the third day as stated).

Page 92, paragraph 39. With respect to Championship over-rate penalties, in addition to the printed playing condition, only matches where a team has bowled for 4 hours or more in the match will apply as far as over-rate penalties are concerned.
