(Harare
2nd Test 15-19 Jun 2001)
Rahul Dravid got off to a flying start, counter-attacking the Zimbabwe
bowlers. He went into a shell as soon as he started losing partners. Along
with Harbhajan Singh (31) he added 56 runs for the eighth wicket. Dravid
remained unbeaten on 68 runs, made with the help of eight boundaries. India
were bowled out for 237, a modest effort. Zimbabwe skipper Heath Streak
bowled supremely to pick 3/69. Brighton Watambwa who pulled his hamstring
after bowling just 3.4 overs, which included the wicket of Badani was
sorely missed.
