Rahul Dravid played a commanding innings to take India through to victory. Dravid played a quick fire knock of 72* made off just 64 balls. His innings was a picture of aggression as he hit seven fours. Along with Ganguly, he added 93 runs off 14.2 overs for the fourth wicket. After the middle order collapse, Dravid made sure that he remained till the victory was achieved. Ajit Agarkar gave admirable support as the two batsmen knocked of the required runs with four balls to spare. Dravid's match winning knock was good enough to give him the Man of the Match award.
