The West Indies went on to make a clean sweep of the remaining
awards on offer, with Chirs Gayle being named the Man of the
Series and Carl Hooper claiming the TVS cup after his side's 4-3
win. The West Indies skipper praised the youngsters in his side
for their role in scripting the win. "We did not give up after
the Test series and the youngsters in the team just took charge
with some great batting. That sets us up well for the World Cup,"
Hooper observed.
