This dramatic programme - edited specially for this release - features more
than two hours of highlights and conveys all the excitement of one of the
most dramatic and high-scoring one-day games of all time.
The drama unfolds on a perfect summer’s day in front of a passionate
full-house at Lord's. The runs flow from the first ball to the last as the
game swings dramatically between the sides. A blistering run-a-ball ton
from Trescothick, an emotional hundred for Hussain, and a typically
belligerent 40 from Flintoff all contribute to England’s imposing 325-5.
India match the England run-feast early on, shooting out of the blocks
with an adrenaline-fuelled century opening partnership between Sehwag and
Ganguly. They then lose 5 wickets for just 40 runs, and from a seemingly
hopeless position - needing more than 8 an over with 5 wickets down -
they are inspired by young guns Kaif and Yuvraj to a last-gasp 2 wicket
victory.
