Terms and Conditions of Acceptance and Entry
1. By using a ticket, the ticket holder irrevocably
and unconditionally accepts and agrees to be bound by, and to
fully comply with,
the terms and conditions set out herein.
2. Any ticket holder
who is under fifteen (15) years of age must, at all times
during such ticket holder's
attendance at the Venue and/or Event, be accompanied by an
adult ticket
holder.
3. The ticket holder
acknowledges and agrees that attendance at the 2003 Cathay
Pacific / Standard
Chartered Hong Kong
Cricket Sixes (the "Event") (or any part thereof)
involves inherent risks and dangers of accidents, personal
and bodily
injury (including, without limitation, being struck by cricket
balls) and property loss or damage. By attending the Event,
the ticket holder understands and has considered and evaluated
the
nature, scope and extent of the risks involved, and voluntarily
and freely chooses to assume these risks.
4. Kowloon Cricket
Club, China Cricket International Limited, Hong Kong Cricket
Association, World
Sport Nimbus Pte Limited
(including all group companies, employees and contractors
thereof), commercial partners, officials and players shall
not be liable
for any accidents, personal and bodily injury, property loss
or damage or any other loss of any nature whatsoever suffered
or incurred by any ticket holder and arising from, and/or
in connection with, the ticket holder's attendance
at the Event.
5. Permission for
any ticket holder to enter, or to remain within, the Kowloon
Cricket Club (the "Venue")
notwithstanding possession of any ticket by that ticket holder
is at the absolute
discretion of the stewards and officers of the organisers
(the "Organisers")
of the Event and/or any police officer.
6. Play is not guaranteed and the Organisers reserve the right
to reschedule the Event and/or change the Venue without notice
and without any liability to any ticket holder for so doing.
7. If, owing to adverse
weather conditions, play does not take place on the scheduled
dates of the Event
or less than
two
(2) matches are completed, the ticket holder may claim a
refund of
the face value of the ticket. Each such refund is subject
to an administrative charge of Hong Kong dollars twenty (HK$20)
only. Refunds will not be made in any other circumstances.
To claim such refund, the ticket holder's name and
address should be endorsed on the ticket and sent, within
seven (7) days
of the scheduled Event date, to:

8. Other than in relation to such refunds, Kowloon Cricket
Club, China Cricket International Limited, Hong Kong Cricket
Association,
World Sport Nimbus Pte Limited (including all group companies,
employees and contractors thereof), commercial partners,
officials and players shall not be liable to pay or compensate
any ticket
holder for any costs, expenses (including, without limitation,
travel costs) or loss (including, without limitation, loss
of enjoyment) of any nature whatsoever and arising from,
and/or in connection with, any such postponement or cancellation.
9. No drugs, illegal substances, intoxicants, weapons, bottles,
cans, or offensive items of any kind are permitted in,
or tolerated at, the Venue. The Organisers reserve the
right
to conduct
body searches on all ticket holders entering the Venue
and to refuse
entry into the Venue to any ticket holder found to have
in their possession any such items or who otherwise refuses
to submit
to such body search.
10. No foul or abusive language or other offensive words
such as racial or sexual abuse shall be used by any ticket
holder
within the Venue.
11. No ticket holders shall enter the field of play unless
so directed by the Organisers.
12. No articles, periodicals,
publications, flyers or goods or services of any nature whatsoever
shall
be offered (whether
free
or by way of sale) by any ticket holder within the Venue
without the prior written consent of the Organisers (such
consent to
be given or withheld at the Organisers' absolute
discretion).
13. Tickets shall not be re-sold or offered for re-sale
and shall not be purchased or obtained from any person,
commercial
agent
or company other than from the Organisers or any of their
authorised agents. The Organisers shall have the unconditional
right to
confiscate (without compensation) any ticket that is
re-sold or offered for re-sale.
14. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, the
Organisers reserve absolutely the unconditional right
to refuse entry
into, or eject from, the Venue any ticket holder who
fails to fully
comply with any of these Terms and Conditions of Acceptance
and Entry.
