The
Hong Kong Invitational Cricket Festival is on again!! During
the days leading up to the International Cricket Sixes, the Asian Cricket
Sixes Tour lands in Hong Kong to join in the HKCA's 'Cricket Week'
celebrations.
An Invitation to All Cricketers
Local
Hong Kong teams are invited to play against overseas teams to take
the prestigious
Hong Kong Invitational Festival Champions Trophy. Last year it was
won in a closely fought final by the Hong Kong Independent Cricket
Clubs
Association.
Kai
Tak won the HKICF Plate final in 2002 and has already put their team
down for
this year’s Festival. And the Bowl went to one of our overseas
teams, Malviya CC of Delhi, India.
Co-organised
by Lamma Cricket Club, Hong Kong Cricket Club and the Asian Cricket
Sixes Tour, this year’s Invitational Festival looks to have
attracted a lot more interest from overseas teams, so you will need to
let us know if you team wants to take up the challenge.
