  At Sharjah, October 21. Pakistan won by one run. Toss: Pakistan. Pakistan clinched a win with the last ball of the match. Needing ten from Waqar Younis's final over, West Indies' last-wicket pair managed eight from the first three balls, including a six to long-on from Bishop. But he could not score from the next two, and was bowled by the last. West Indies were put in sight of victory by Richardson's second hundred of the tournament. His 122 runs came from 121 balls, and he put on 154 with Dujon after five wickets had fallen for 57. Imran Khan also batted convincingly, adding 137 in 28 overs with Ramiz Raja.
