Waqar Younis was sacked as the UBL captain on October  1st.  This
was announced by a senior vice-president of the UBL, Irfan Mirza.
The reason given was that he (and  other  players) proceeded   to
Hong  Kong without taking permission from the BCCP. Other players
including Inzama-ul-Haq, Mustaq Ahmed and Basit Ali  were  also
banned  from  taking  part  in  the current Wills Cup tournament.
Haroon Rashid, earlier, has brought it to  the  notice  of  UBL's
board  that a serious action should be taken about these players.
It is believed that Waqar Younis would quit UBL.
