INDIA v ZIMBABWE 1992-93
Wisden CricInfo staff - January 1, 1994

At Pune, March 25. India won by eight wickets. Toss: India.

The home side met a target of 235 in 50 overs with a measure of comfort on a good pitch. The Zimbabweans had had their best batting day of the series. The Flower brothers gave them a rousing start against some wayward bowling and poor fielding. But after a brilliant throw by Azharuddin to run out Andy Flower the spinners put the brake on the scoring-rate. Raman, who had not played for India since their return from South Africa, led the way with an elegant half-century, an example followed by Ajay Sharma, whose utility left-arm spin had restricted Zimbabwe most effectively.

Man of the Match: Ajay Sharma.
