RSA in Eng news

The South African cricket team arrived in England over the  week-
end  for  their  tour  which gets under way on Thursday the 23rd.
There is still some concern over the back strain of the  21  year
old  left-arm  paceman  Aubrey  Martyn. Martyn strained his lower
back during a training camp held in Durban 2 weeks ago. The  team
physiotherapist  (Craig  Smith)  said he his adopting a "wait and
see" attitude as regards the injury but he also said he was  mak-
ing plans for Martyn to see a specialist.

The South Africans were due to hold a  practice  match  yesterday
(20 June) at the private estate of American millionaire Paul Get-
ty. The first official tour match is on Thursday against the Earl
of Carnarvon's XI.
