The West Indies are finalising the tour itinerary of Sri Lanka's tour of the Caribbean islands and will be sent to the BCCSL soon. The have confirmed that they will host Sri Lanka for a full Test tour in May next year. This will be Sri Lanka's first ever Test tour of the Caribbean Island since gaining full ICC membership in 1981.

A Indies Board of Control for Cricket (WIBCC) official said they will host Sri Lanka for a five-week tour in May to play two Tests, three one day internationals and two three-day side games.

Bridgetown and St.John's are the likely venues for the Tests. Sri Lanka and the West Indies have met each other only once in Test cricket - in Sri Lanka's 50th Test at the Tyronne Fernando Stadi- um, Moratuwa in 1993.
